Learn how to stream all fifteen Six Nations fixtures plus the latest information, full schedule and kick-off times

It’s match week four of five in the Six Nations and the men’s rugby competition is coming to a climactic conclusion. This Saturday, fifth-placed Italy face off against bottom-of-the-table Wales at 2:15pm before a mid-table clash between England and France at 4:45pm. Sunday sees runaway leaders Ireland up against second-placed Scotland at 3pm.

To continue watching all the action live in the UK, you can stream the games via either BBC, ITV or S4C. For rugby fans in the US, NBC Sports is the lead broadcaster meaning you’ll need Hulu With Live TV, Sling TV or DirecTV Stream to stream every matchup.

Here’s to hoping for some more sublime Six Nations action across the many hotly-anticipated matchups. Read on for the full fixture schedule plus details on the kick-off times and the latest team news ahead of the tournament.

When is the Six Nations 2023?

The first Six Nations fixtures took place on Saturday 4 February, with the opening game played between Wales and Ireland. The final round of fixtures is on Saturday 18 March when all teams play at the same time. Games across every round take place on a weekend between the times of 12:30pm and 5pm (GMT).

How does the Six Nations point system work?

The Six Nations point scoring works in a similar manner to many Rugby Championship international competitions: 0 points for a loss, 2 points for a draw and 4 points for a win. A team also receives bonus points: 1 for scoring four or more tries in a match and 1 for losing by 7 points or fewer.

How to watch the Six Nations in the UK: BBC, ITV and S4C

As usual, the Six Nations will be free-to-air across three terrestrial broadcasters for Rugby fans based in the UK: BBC, ITV and S4C.

For games on BBC, you can use its iPlayer service to live stream matches on the network. Likewise, ITV has ITVX where you can watch its games wherever you are. S4C is a Welsh language free-to-air broadcaster and will also show coverage of select games via the S4C Clic player and BBC iPlayer. For full details of which games will be broadcast on which channel, plus dates and kick-off times, read the full fixture schedule here.

How to watch the Six Nations in the US: NBC Sports

Should you not already have a cable package that includes NBC Sports, you’ll need to find a streaming service that does.

The cheapest way to stream is via NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock. It’ll only cost $4.99/mth for the pleasure as the games will all be shown on its Premium plan.

Alternatively, should you be interested in a more far-reaching package of televisual content, you can also find NBC Sports on a few other streaming platforms depending on the service you prefer.

How to watch the Six Nations from anywhere else: Use a good VPN

While all the above streaming services make complete sense for those staying put in the UK or the US, those located elsewhere or travelling during the almost two-month-long competition will face a problem: geo-blocking.

Channels like BBC and ITV, as well as US-based streaming services like Peacock or Hulu, stop users from accessing their content outside of national borders due to rights restrictions. As a result, should you try to watch live BBC coverage of the opening Six Nations match outside of the UK, for instance, you’ll be blocked from doing so and miss all the Rugby action you know and love.

What’s the solution? Use a Virtual Private Network, or VPN for short. The best VPN software will encrypt your data so you can’t be tracked while surfing the web, as well as allow for uninterrupted coverage of the matches via lighting streaming speeds.

Many VPNs just aren’t up to the task though, so we’ve listed our two favourites below so you can get straight to streaming all the Six Nations rugby you like wherever you are.

ExpressVPN: Out of all the VPNs we’ve tested, ExpressVPN continues to wow us in 2023. Firstly, it’s a pleasure to use and makes bypassing geo-blocked services as simple as possible – even for the most tech-illiterate users. You can use its 3,000 servers in 94 countries across five devices too, which is ample for most people. It might not be as fast as some competitors – more on an example of that down below – but it still offers ample speed, and solid security credentials, making it perfect for uninhibited streaming of the Six Nations.
