This Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 Black Friday bargain is out of this world
You can pick up the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 for a decidedly affordable £549 this Black Friday
Amazon is offering the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 for just £549 as part of its vast Black Friday sale. This is for the higher 256GB model, and you can choose between a Black, Cream, or Lavender finish. Sadly, the popular Cream shade had sold out at the time of writing.
Taking a closer look at that pricing, it’s certainly true that the compact foldable’s launch price of £999 had already been brought down significantly of late thanks to the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. Not by that much, however.
Indeed, if you check Samsung’s official online store, you’ll find that this particular model of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is still selling for £749. That’s £200 more than this deal, which is running through Samsung’s official Amazon storefront.
The fact that this deal is still Samsung-affiliated is likely to thank for an extended three-year guarantee being added into the mix. That’s quite a rare provision for any smartphone.
As for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 handset itself, it remains a compelling purchase. We awarded it the full five stars in our 2021 review, concluding that “the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is precisely what we’ve been waiting for”, namely a “top-end foldable flagship with very few compromises and a price that’s attainable instead of unreachable”.
We stand by those comments to this day, especially with this deal now making it all the more attainable. Yes, even with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 now on the market.
While we also love Samsung’s newer compact foldable, we did observe in our Flip 4 review that the design and core functions remained essentially unchanged from its predecessor, with only “a few tweaks to the award-winning formula”.
